Santa Necklace

We enjoyed working with Fimo (modelling clay). We made some Santa necklaces.

We made amazing Taco's today in cooking and we worked as a team cleaning up.

Bay clay pottery exhibition

We went to Baycourt to see the bay clay exhibition and arohanui had their own display in the middle of the room and it looked really good. I had some of my art work in the exhibition which was really cool!

Woodwork.

Today was my first day at woodwork,very cool, I am making a jewellery box.

Dress up

We visited a fancy dress shop to get an idea of what we could dress as at our end of year party. We found lots of ideas and had fun trying things on!

Today I practiced painting between lines. I did a great job of my koru painting.

My most favourite session by far, I love to sing and even play the ukulele.

Disco

I loved the disco lights and dancing all day. 

Marae Visit

I enjoyed visiting Ohinemutu Marae. The wood carvings were beautiful and the steam on the water looked really cool!

Wingspan

We had a great trip to Wingspan. I liked learning about all the different bird, especially the owl. 

Pottery

Last month I was really busy with my pottery projects, this is a photo of what my finished vase will look like.

SPCA Volunteer shop.

Every week I volunteer at the SPCA shop in Greerton, this week I was cleaning shoes and putting them on display.

Greerton police station

We visited the Greerton Police Station today. 

Cooking session

We made Macaroni cheese in cooking yesterday, I was stirring the white sauce, it tasted really good.

Art and craft

I am helping to do portrait drawings in my art session.

Volunteer group

We did a great job of picking up rubbish on the Daisy Hardwick walkway.

Girls group

In girls group we went to Bethlehem Kmart and bought felt pens for the centre.
