Christmas time

This week I helped to package up gingerbread men to give to everyone at the centre. I also got to pick a present from the secret Santa basket. It was a fun day.

Learning to catch the bus

We are learning to catch the bus. Here we are waiting for our ride to Greerton! 

Girls group

I went with girls group to get my hair cut. I love my new style it's nice and short for summer, so I don't get to hot.

Oropi hot pools

We went for a trip to Oropi hot pools for a nice relaxing swim and a yummy burger and chips for lunch. I had so much fun!

Xmas tree

The volunteer group had fun putting the Xmas tree up this week. It looks pretty in gold!

Pool time!!

I love swimming at the Greerton pools. I'm so glad it's summer again so I can cool down in the pool as well as having fun times with my friends at 

Monopoly

We finished making our own monopoly game and so we got to play it today! It was so much fun!

Agrodome

I enjoyed a great day out at the Agrodome in Rotorua. We watched a very fun farm show and saw lots of other animals.bi liked the big wooly sheep.

Girls group

We went down to the Historic village to explore in Girls group. There was a big new mural. And we had a look in the costume shop for ideas for our Christmas party.

Busy week

I've had a busy, fun week. We went to the Bethlehem community gardens, did some singing and dancing in music and then started back at swimming too! 

Girls outing

I had a nice afternoon at worlds end with the girls. It was fun playing pool

and I enjoyed my ice cold lemonade on such a warm day. Fun times........

Sports

This week in sports we had obstacle course to do in our teams. We had to get through a hula hoop, get a ring on for the ring toss, get the ball in the bucket. It was lots of fun,

Memory

I'm testing out my memory by playing a memory matching game on the computer.

TalentQuest

What a fun day we had for our TalentQuest! I sang a song with my music group and ate some yummy BBQ food and fish n chips for lunch. 

Lemon muffins

We made lemon muffins in cooking this week. It was tricky to spoon the cake mix into the muffin cases but they turned out great!

Volleyball

I joined in a fun game of balloon volleyball with the sports group. We chose teams and then had a match - we even had a referee. 

Homecrafts

I've been busy doing different colour sponging for the birthday tree this week. It's looking really good so far. I can't wait to see it when we have finished.

Visit to shops

Music

I love to sing in music and some people even call call me Beyoncé. Some times I even play the drums and the shakers but really I like to sing the most

Personal book

I've been very busy helping to fill the pages up in my personal book. It's very colourful and I'm really happy with how it's coming along.

Garden group

We made grass heads and decorated them Today was their first hair cut

Mini golf

We went to mini golf for sports. It was lots of fun. It took lots of concentration to get the ball into the hole. I did really well and came 2nd place.

Brain Games

Fun and frustrating ....... Simon Air game.

Sports group

We went to the board walk by the historic village and walked to the river. It was good fun to see all the native trees and birds. it was a lovely day and we all got hot walking back to the van. I love to be outside

Cultural studies

This week I helped to colour in the boarders of our facts about Portugal. We are learning lots of interesting things.

Bethlehem Gardens

The volunteer group went to the bethlehem community gardens and helped out with the composting and moving some soil.

Silly Hat Disco

I enjoyed dancing at our silly hat disco this week. We made or wore silly hats from home and ate some yummy pumpkin soup. 

Sports

Today in sports we showed each other our favourite stretches, this is me stretching to the sky. We also kicked the soccer ball around and had a sports quiz .

iPads

I love looking at interesting things on the iPads It helps me to learn new things.

Music

I enjoyed playing the ukulele in my music session this week. We listened to all sorts of music and had a big sing-a-long! 

Hamburgers

We made Hawaiian style hamburgers in cooking today - which was my choice to make. We added cheese and pineapple rings to our burger.
