Deadpool & Wolverine

 Today I watched an action packed movie, Deadpool & Wolverine at Event Cinema in the lakes. As it has just been released, I enjoyed watching it in the Vmax cinema which means, bigger screen and comfier chairs. The movie was choice, having lots of action and comedy scenes. What an awesome outing!

Blaze gym

My hauora is really important to me and to help improve my health and well-being I chose to go to blaze gym on Friday. I started off with some light cardio, getting my heart rate up and then moved on to the weights. I really look forward to moving my body more often. 

Matariki Disco & Hangi fundraiser

We celebrated Matariki with an awesome disco and lunch fundraiser. We spent the day before prepping all the Kai, making Friday morning a little easier for our kitchen hands. 

I spent the morning dancing away, so much so, come lunch time I was very ready for our Hāngi and boil up, I even had a second plate. Yum!

 

Sonic Cinema

 I went to Sonic Cinema today and watched the movie Paddington while enjoying some popcorn and juice.   I thought the movie was really funny and the bear was cute. 

Shopping at the Warehouse

I went to the Warehouse to buy supplies for the centre. I love pushing the trolley around and I feel quite confident finding things on my own. I felt very capable to direct my staff around the store.

 

Sewing - Apron

With the help of my staff and friends we made an apron! We used a beautiful fabric, placing the pattern on top we cut around it and then pinned the edges. With the help of the staff I did a bit of sewing. I’m hoping to wear the apron next time I’m in creative kitchen.

 

Creative Kitchen - Steak and Creamy mushrooms

I rolled up my sleeves and got busy in the kitchen once again. We cooked a yummy steak and mushroom dish. I cut up the mushrooms and stirred the pan. Our Kai was so yummy.
