Wilrose Christmas Party

Our Wilrose centre celebrated our 2022 Christmas party with a disco day and pizza and Ice cream for lunch. We all had so much fun.

Music Fun

 I have so much fun in our music sessions. I like playing different instruments and singing along to the music. 

Healthy connections and wellness

 I enjoyed starting my healthy connection session this week.Then in sports I did some mindfulness, relaxation and breathing next to the waterfall at Yatton park. It’s made me merely so relaxed! 

Card making

 Today I made Christmas cards for my sister and dad! I had a lot of fun making them and can't wait do give my family the cards 

Socialising

 I had a really nice morning out with 2 of my friends. We went to the 16th avenue cafe and I had a delicious strawberry thick shake. We then we to look around at Fraser Cove.

Sports ~ Basketball

 I had fun with my friends playing basketball at the Gate Pa basketball courts. 

Foodbank

 I enjoyed helping out my friends being a volunteer down at Foodbank. I counted the toilet rolls put them in bags with the soap to make up little parcels for people who need them. It feels good helping people.

Maxwells Beach

 I had a lovely day socialising with my friends at Maxwells beach.

Ice Cream

 I enjoyed a delicious ice cream 🍦 with my friends to celebrate Shelley’s birthday. We ate our ice creams at Pilot bay beach. 

Mindfulness

 I had a nice afternoon talking about different ways to relax and be calm. We sat by the waterfall at Yatton Park then moved under a tree and listened to sounds, thought about things that make us happy and did some breathing techniques. 

Swimming and Yoga

 I had a lovely swim at the Greerton pools and enjoyed a yoga session at Yatton park in the afternoon in the beautiful sunshine.

Hair cuts and happy days

 I enjoyed getting my haircut at The Lakes this week and have had lots of fun on outings with my friends in the sunshine! Roll on more happy days like these' 

Swimming

 I had fun swimming with my friends. In the last couple of weeks we have been to Greerton and Baywave swimming pools. 

Te Puna quarry park

 I had a lovely morning out with my friends exploring at Te Puna Quarry Park.

Library Tour

 I had a fun afternoon having a tour behind the scenes at the Tauranga Library.

Sonic Cinema

 I laughed so much while watching the funny movie George of the jungle 2 in the sonic cinema at the historic village.
