Strawberry Picking

 I went to a garden to pick some strawberries. We found lots of them growing and picked them carefully, along with some beautiful flowers. The cooking group made strawberry ambrosia …….. which I tried and decided it was yum! 

Wilrose flower festival

 Today we had a lovely flower festival making flower bouquets, flower arrangements , cards for our friends and laminated flower cards. I enjoyed my day

Pasifika festival

 I had a great time on friendship day. We had a Pasifika festival. We each did a different type of performance. I got to do some singing and poi. I did a great job and every one cheered for us at the end. 

Karaoke

 I enjoyed singing and dancing with my friends today. We all took turns to use the microphone and sing along and then we clapped for each other to show our support. 

Fishing

 I had an awesome day out with my mates fishing. We went by the Matapihi bridge and saw a train go over it. We caught some seaweed but no fish today.

 I had a fun day out with my friends in the sunshine. We went fishing by the Matapihi bridge. We didn’t catch anything but still had a heap of fun and watched a train go past. 

Art with friends

 On friendship day I helped my friend to paint some boarders for our special Christmas party. 

Masterchef

 I love cooking in the kitchen (and then trying out the things we have made)! I think I could be the next MasterChef! 

Balloon games

 On friendship day I had heaps of fun playing lots of different balloon games with my friends. We all laughed lots together.

Pamper Day

 I had a lovely relaxing morning with my friends at our Wilrose pamper morning. We listened to relaxing music and had a video of a waterfall playing on the TV. I had a foot spa, my finger nails painted. 

Next Step Gym

 I enjoyed a fun work out at Next Step Gym with my friends. 

Beach adventure and collecting shells

 This morning I went with some friends to the papamoa beach where I collected some shells, walked along the sand and then we chilled out in the comfy beach chairs enjoying the sun until it was time to head back. What a fun morning!

Chapel Street Beach Fun

 My friends and I soaked up the sun at the beach. We set up a picnic mat and cheered for our friends who were playing volleyball.  We found some crabs under the rocks.

Friendship Fun

My friends and I had many laughs today while playing the memory game and finding more out about each other by answering questions from our question box.

Carmichael Reserve

 I had a fun outing with my friends, walking and feeding the ducks at Carmichael Reserve.  

Create and display

I’m so happy to be back with my friends at Arohanui. In create and display I chopped up lots of lavender and rosemary to put into wheat bags to make them smell nice.
