Centre shopping

I went to New world to buy groceries for the centre. I love pushing the trolley around and I feel quite confident finding things on my own and showed my friends where to go!

 

Kapahaka

 I love being in our Kapahaka group. I enjoy singing along to waiata ,swinging poi and performing maori actions. Check me out!

Kumera & corn fritters

I had a blast making some tasty kumera & corn fritters in the Wilrose kitchen. They turned out so well I had some for lunch!

Life skills

I helped clean the fridge this week. I took everything out and wiped it down, then checked for expiry dates when putting things back in there spot! 

 

Connect 20

I enjoyed hanging out with friends at the Citizen Club. I had a yummy cheese burger and chips for lunch. Im looking forward to going back again soon!

 

 

Board Game

I enjoyed play board games today including a memory game & and guessing game. I even used some sign language to ask my friend who her character was in the game.

 

Blaze Gym

I'm feeling so strong!! The gym is sucha great place to stay active. I'm loving the workouts, it makes me feel good. 

 

Matapihi bridge

 I had a lovely  morning  at Matapihi footbridge looking at all the views with my friends. We enjoyed the sunshine and looked at boats through the binoculars.

Arts crafts and design

After a long refrishing holiday ,I am  finally back at  the centre, My first task was a paint by numbers project to display in my personal book. It was so relaxing to focus on the colors and lines to bring the picture to life.
