Shopping at the Warehouse

I went to the Warehouse to buy supplies for the centre. I love pushing the trolley around and I feel quite confident finding things on my own. I felt very capable to direct my staff around the store.

 

Sewing - Apron

With the help of my staff and friends we made an apron! We used a beautiful fabric, placing the pattern on top we cut around it and then pinned the edges. With the help of the staff I did a bit of sewing. I’m hoping to wear the apron next time I’m in creative kitchen.

 

Creative Kitchen - Steak and Creamy mushrooms

I rolled up my sleeves and got busy in the kitchen once again. We cooked a yummy steak and mushroom dish. I cut up the mushrooms and stirred the pan. Our Kai was so yummy.

 

Pom pom making

I enjoyed helping Angie make pom poms. I felt confident tieing the pom pom together and cutting all the edges. My favourite part is fluffing it up. Our pom pom mat is really starting to come together now and I look forward to making more when I'm in the mood.

Soap making

I made a my own bar of lavender soap today. We melted down the oat milk bar, mixed dry lavender into it and then poured it into the moulds. We put them in the freezer and voila. I really enjoyed being apart of the making process.
